#2 - Anchor Points, Handles, Shapes & Strokes
Trace out the shapes on the following pdf file by using the pen tool. Give each shape a stroke of 3. Export your file in illustrator as a jpeg to submit to Schoology when completed.
#3 - Pen Tool Exercise
After watching and following along with the following two video tutorials, complete the word "Vector" in perfect vector graphic shapes by tracing around the letters in the provided illustrator file. Export your file as a jpeg to submit to Schoology when completed.

#4 - Pathfinder
Follow the examples on the provided pdf file below. Create an overlapped star and rectangle (or two other shapes of your choice). Duplicate each of them. Create an example of each Pathfinder Option as is explained in the video.
Then, create Francois, The Belching Worm, by using the same pathfinder options you learned from the star and rectangle activity.
Export your work as separate jpeg files to submit to Schoology when completed.
#5 - Layers
Trace and color Homer Simpson or a character of your choice. Remember this is formative practice so don't take forever on it.
#6 - Gradients
Add gradient layer shapes to your previous Homer (or other character) to give it added visual interest. Export your file as a jpeg to submit to Schoology when completed.
#7 - Gradient Mesh - optional
Create your own custom vector cherries and stems. Use the images provided below to trace the shape of the cherry. Export your file as a jpeg to submit to Schoology when completed.
#8 - Joining Two Paths
Create a heart shape by joining two or more paths. Export your file as a jpeg to submit to Schoology when completed.
