Graduation Requirements​
Class of 2007 and prior:Students must pass a minimum of 45 trimester credits in the following subject areas:
  • 10 credits in English
    • 3 credits in 10 th Grade English
    • 3 credits in 11 th Grade English
    • 3 credits in 12 th Grade English
  • 6 credits in Social Studies
    • 1 credit in U.S. History
    • 1 credit in Intro to World Geography
    • 1 credit in World Geography Asia
    • 1 credit in World Geography Africa/Europe/Middle East
    • 1 credit in Government and Citizenship
    • 1 credit in Economics
  • 3 credits in Science
  • 3 credits in Math
  • 3 credits in Physical Education and Health
    • 1 credit in Life Fitness
    • 1 credit in a Level 1 PE
    • 1 credit in Health
  • 21 credits in Electives
Successful Completion of the Minnesota Basic Skills Tests:
  • Math
  • Reading
  • Writing


Class of 2008 and beyond:Students must pass a minimum of 64 trimester credits in the following subject areas:
  • 12 credits in English
    • 3 credits in 9 th Grade English
    • 3 credits in 10 th Grade English
    • 3 credits in 11 th Grade English
    • 3 credits in 12 th Grade English
  • 10 credits in Social Studies
    • 3 credits in 9th Grade Social Studies
    • 1 credit in U.S. History
