"Dynamic Duo" Pinch Pots

What makes artwork "Dynamic"?  What are the artistic benefits of a "Duo?"

In Pop Culture, a "Dynamic Duo" refers to people or things that are really close, inseparable, always together.  They conquer anything and everything!

How does an artist visually conquer?  What is needed to make art dynamic?

Suggestion 1 - Pinch Pot Functional Pottery

Similar from what you learn from Manders' tutorial above, create a pair (or "Duo") of dynamic contemporary style functional vessels.  Follow along with Manders and build your Pedestal Bowls or choose a style of your own.

Suggestion 2 - Pinch Pot Modern Sculpture

Maybe you are someone who loves detail, texture, and sculpture.  Create a sculpture by connecting two pinch pots at the lip to form a hollow balloon-like sphere or oval shaped "egg".  Add clay or carve into the clay to create a unique sculpture.

Suggestion 3 - Pinch Pot Duo Creatures

Is it Halloween?  No?  No matter...Create a Dynamic Duo pair of creatures.  They don't have to be the same remember!  Are Batman and Robin the same?  No way!!!  Yet they were the most Dynamic of Duos!

Suggestion 4 - Pinch Pot Duo Amplifiers

Do you have the annoying problem of wanting to listen to music while you're getting ready in the morning but don't have an outlet for a speaker near by?  Well...make your own Duo set of speakers!  Remember, the opening for the phone will shrink up to 16% so figure in the shrinkage rate.
