Computer Art A

Hello and welcome to Computer Art A!  Here you will be able to use the top photography and graphic design programs currently in use by photographers, graphic designers and artists--Photoshop & Illustrator!  You will apply more sophisticated techniques to create, edit and transform new or existing images. Additional technology and skills are explored to create multimedia artworks in a variety of formats. This course enhances creativity as well as graphic and computer skills.

We also describe, analyze, interpret and evaluate computer-generated arts in its historical, cultural, and social contexts. Students understand a variety of technology in terms of purpose, function and application through knowledge and application of Elements of Art, Principles of Design and creative problem-solving. We explore career options and the sometimes controversial role computer-generated art plays in society.

Most importantly, we will create amazing computer art!
