When can I check on my student's progress?
Parents are encouraged to check their student's Schoology course often to keep updated on their student's achievement.
What supplies does my student need?
Students should always have a pencil with them, a 8 1/2 x 11 or 6 x 9 sketchbook, and for Computer Art students, a 4 - 8 gig flashdrive. Other than that, I just ask students to bring their creativity, an open mind, and enthusiasm.
What is the grading breakdown?
80% Summative - Art projects, Portfolios, Artist Statements, Critique Reflections, etc...
20% Formative - Daily practice, exercises, sketchbook checks, investigation and planning documents, etc...

When is Mr. Manders available when I need extra help or just need to catch up on my work?
M,T,Th,F from 2:00pm - 3:30pm
M, W, F from 6:30am - 7:30am
I teach in 3 different rooms (177, 277, 356). I may be in any one of these rooms at any time. You need to confirm meeting times and places with me before the meeting. If you cannot find me, go to the front office and have them page me over the intercom. I will be somewhere in the building.
